Jori Erdman, AIA, LEED AP

Professor, School of Architecture

Jori Erdman is the Director of the School of Architecture at Louisiana State University and member of the Executive Advisory Committee for the LSU Coastal Sustainability Studio. She has been Design Editor of the Journal of Architectural Education since 2007. Erdman came to LSU from Clemson University where she was the Director of Graduate Studies and the Community Design and Research Center. Her teaching and research activities focus on design-build in architectural education and the cultural production of architecture. She has published numerous articles in these areas and has received numerous grants and awards including an ACSA Collaborative Practice Award and a Graham Foundation Grant. She holds a Master’s of architecture degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture from the University of Virginia.
