The CSS Summer Internship is an excellent opportunity for university students to learn, grow, and gain real-life design experiences. The Coastal Sustainability Studio is seeking motivated students for paid summer internships in an exciting, challenging, interdisciplinary environment. Qualified candidates with an interest in landscape and data representation, community engagement, public policy, planning, ecological restoration, and design will work in collaboration on a variety of projects. These range from visual communication and design work, to policy and design initiatives that address a multitude of environmental challenges facing vulnerable Gulf Coast communities. Graduate students and college seniors from a range of fields including, but not limited to, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, Digital Media Arts, Cartography, Urban Planning, Geography, are encouraged to apply.
Students should submit the following:
(a) Letter of interest addressing why you would like to work for the CSS;
(b) Resume outlining your design and graphic representation experience;
(c) Work sample demonstrating your proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, ArcMap
